Highlands Nordic Lost & Found Protocol
If you know you have lost an item while at Highlands Nordic, please contact us by telephone at (705) 444 5017 or email ski@highlandsnordic.ca to enquire if we have located your lost item(s).
Whether you had lost your item(s) when participating in: skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, cross country running races, at a ski race, trailblazer programs, or outdoor education programs, please contact Highlands Nordic and leave us your name and phone number.
Please provide information about the item as well as the day you came and the program you participated in. We will do our best to retrieve the item(s) and return it to the Highlands Nordic ski chalet’s Lost and Found.
Holding Items
Please note: Highlands Nordic will hold valuable items including wallets, purses, cell phones, credit cards, and identification for 90 days. Items of lesser value are held for 30 days, dependent on the item.
Retrieving Lost Items
If we have located your item(s), you have two options available:
• We can hold them for 30-days so that you can pick them up from Highlands Nordic. Please come between 9am and 4pm. Call ahead to give us an idea of when you will be coming to retrieve the lost item so we can set it aside for you. If items are not picked up within the established amount of time, they will be disposed of.
• We can ship them to you via Canada Post, at your expense. It will come with a tracking number which we will provide to you once we have sent the item(s). An additional $10 will be charged to cover processing fees.
