Conditions for March 16, 2025

8:30AM Update:

The snow is more granular than expected. It will be more fun for people with experience. You will still be able to get an edge but there is a good little crust on top. Skate skiing will be better today. Chanse is still doing laps to help break up the snow.

Quarry, Woolner and Teal’s Tango are closed.

A little rain never hurt anyone! As my Dad always said skin is waterproof!

All that to say it is completely fair to not want to ski in the rain 😂 Although we do have a window in the morning it looks like it won’t be raining. If you can squeeze in your ski before 1 you should hopefully be in luck according to the radar. Chanse has groomed with the snowmobile and ginzue on everything except the Wooler Loop. You are still more than welcome to ski that Loop it is just too tricky to get machinery down and back up in these conditions. It will be soft and slow (make sure to use your liquids and glide wax!) but still fully covered and in good shape.

The Cafe will be closed today.

The base has taken a hit this weekend. We are quite deep in some spots and not so deep in other places. Things may start to change quickly if this keeps up.
