Lessons
Lessons are a great way to brush up on your skills and get the most out of your classic or skate ski experience! Our instructors are all highly experienced skiers with teaching or coaching experience with the ability to teach from beginner to advanced levels.
How to book a lesson
We book Lessons over the phone for the following 7 days, providing the snow conditions are in good shape. It's important that the snow base is in good shape for a fun and positive learning experience. You will find a description of the different lesson types below.
Due to the demand for lessons we require payment upfront at the time of booking.
Regarding the weather: We dress for all sorts of weather! However, if a weather system moves in that prevents a safe or happy learning experience (freezing rain, for example), we will reach out to you to cancel and do our best to re-schedule.
Regarding cancellations: Cancellations or date changes will only be accepted with more than 48 hours notice. Cancelations will be subject to a $10 processing fee.
Cancellations less than 48 hours our are not eligible for a refund. We do appreciate notification, however so we can inform our instructors.

Types of Lessons
Discover Ski Lesson
A one-time discounted package to encourage trying out nordic skiing for the day. It includes a beginner lesson (30 to 45 minutes), your trail pass and rental. If you book a Discovery Lesson, we will automatically reserve your equipment. There is no need for you to make a separate rental booking.

Explore Classic Ski Lesson
Geared towards the novice skier wanting to improve their skillset and move a little more efficiently on the trails. Classic skiing technique tips will be explored during this 45 minute to 1 hour group lesson to get you moving with more confidence on the trails. Β

Family Classic Lesson (Ages 5 and up)
A one-time lesson geared towards getting you and your family introduced to the wonderful sport of nordic skiing and skiing together. The lesson will be geared towards the skill level of the group, typically focusing more on the younger family members. Don't worry - everyone comes away with new skills! This package includes a 30 to 45 minute beginner lesson, rentals and trail pass.

Private or Semi-Private Lesson (Ages 14 years and up)
An excellent way to improve your skills on your own or with family and friends. We can accommodate up to 6 people in a semi-private lesson. Lessons are available for both classic and skate and are 45 minutes to an hour long. If the lesson is for a minor, then a supervising parent needs to be present based on the Rule of Two coaching policy.
