Cross-Country GBSSA Championships- approx 450

Georgian Bay Secondary School Association Cross-Country Championships. We would use the courses we have used in the past including the front field, around the Range, up to the Glacier, the First Finger, Flat 500, Twin Peaks and then Race Out down to the back of the Chalet. Access to washrooms will be needed and we can bring in portable toilets as required. Timing is electronic and would need access to the building downstairs – Team Room. First Aid would set up on the small patio – under cover – at the east end of the Chalet. Depending on weather, having some access to the downstairs area near the office to get first aid inside would be very helpful. Registration typically happens in the upstairs room at the east end of the Chalet (Rockside, I believe. For race set up I would like to be able to have access to the gator and would, of course pay a fee for its use and for gas. Set up will involve flagging, signage and some tape. All of this will be removed following the race that day. In order to set the course I hope to make arrangements to put up much of those materials the day before so that an early morning check would be all that was needed. As for the timing of the event – races will begin around 10am and conclude around 3:30. I have presente4d the times on this form to reflect when I would like to be on site to set up registration, check the courses and to then take things down and clean up.
