Conditions for January 21, 2022

Oh boy we are in for a beautiful day! Chanse has regroomed everything with the Husky and it’s looking perfect out there. Yes it’s a bit on the cooler side but don’t let that scare you, trust me you won’t have any regrets getting out today. The sun will be shining and there will be little to no wind. Night skiing will be great as well. Get those layers on and get out for a ski!

Fat biking is open. A very low PSI will be key today. Climbing will be a little tough today but up top will be pretty good riding. There is a small section at the Top of the Mountain and Golf Course Loop that will be soft and deep. Snowshoeing welcome! Follow @highlandsfatbike on Instagram for daily updates on conditions.

Rental & Lesson Update: We are still working on our online system so we will continue to take bookings by phone for rentals and lessons. Once a reservation has been made, payment and filling out the rental form can be completed onsite. We will just take bookings up to Sunday January 23. Please call 705-444-6959. Thanks in advance for your patience.

We request you complete the online Contact Tracing and screening when coming onto the PROPERTY the day you are visiting. You should complete this before you come to ski or snowshoe or fat bike. You cannot do this the night before. This is a public health requirement. This screening will be checked ONLY when entering the building. Entry is through the pro shop doors. Note that cell service may not be good enough to fill out the online form onsite. Once the screening and tracing is complete you will receive an email. Take a screen shot of your contact tracing so it easy to find if you are planning on coming into the building! If the email you receive has come back red, it means you have answered YES to one of the screen questions. In that case public health regulations mean you are NOT able to ski at our location that day. If the email you receive comes back green, we will see you on the trails shortly! Our conditions texting update program is back! We update the conditions page every morning, but sometimes things change through the day. With this program updates will come directly to you as a text.
