Today's Report

Trust me when I say the cold is not too bad today! It is cold but so still, there is little to no wind which makes all the difference in the world. Wear some proper layers and face coverings and you will be cozy and warm, especially in the trees. Some of my favourite skis have been a -20.

Chanse and Tim have regroomed everything with the snowmobile and ginzue this morning. Trails are in excellent shape although of course they will be a bit soft with the fresh snow we have received. Cold snow is slow snow so you won’t be breaking any records today! But it will be a beautiful day on the trails. Classic would be my top choice of technique if you have the option to choose.

Everything is open except for the Woolner Loop

For day users trail tickets will be regular price. Click for rates.

With these great conditions before the New Year we have decided to move ahead to open Night Skiing Early! Wednesday and Friday’s we will be open until 8. Since conditions can be variable we will make a call each Wednesday and Friday morning if we feel it is safe to go ahead with Night Skiing. Best practice will be to check before you come out to ensure there hasn’t been a change through the day. We haven’t been getting a lot of sunshine lately so bring your headlamp to ensure you have light coverage on your ski.

Regular Trail Hours are between 8:30 and 4:30. Please come off the trails by 4:30 so the building can close at 5. Staff will wait to ensure allΒ vehicles have left the property safely.
