Conditions for February 25, 2022

Another great day on the trails! Chanse has regroomed with the Husky, although it is currently snowing so you will find things a little snow covered. The snow is suppose to continue most of the morning. It should transition to low winds for this evening during night skiing. 

A couple of general reminders:

– When snowshoeing please be sure to stay on the snowshoe trail.
– please wear a mask from the parking lot to 50 metres beyond the building
– contact tracing and screening still needs to be completed.

Fat biking is open. Trails are riding well, you will find things slightly snow covered over a firm base. Follow @highlandsfatbike on Instagram for daily updates on conditions.

Rental & Lesson Update: We are still working on our online system so we will continue to take bookings by phone for rentals and lessons. Once a reservation has been made, payment and filling out the rental form can be completed onsite. Please call 705-444-6959. Thanks in advance for your patience.

We request you complete the online Contact Tracing and screening when coming onto the PROPERTY the day you are visiting. You should complete this before you come to ski or snowshoe or fat bike. You cannot do this the night before. This is a public health requirement. This screening will be checked ONLY when entering the building. Entry is through the pro shop doors. Note that cell service may not be good enough to fill out the online form onsite. Once the screening and tracing is complete you will receive an email. Take a screen shot of your contact tracing so it easy to find if you are planning on coming into the building! If the email you receive has come back red, it means you have answered YES to one of the screen questions. In that case public health regulations mean you are NOT able to ski at our location that day. If the email you receive comes back green, we will see you on the trails shortly! Our conditions texting update program is back! We update the conditions page every morning, but sometimes things change through the day. With this program updates will come directly to you as a text. No app download required. Your phone number will not be shared.
