Today's Report

10:30 Update
We are continuing to get an unexpected light snow falling. Trails will be slightly snow-covered. It is a chilly day at -10 but there is no wind, so with proper layers in the trees it is going to be a dream. Chanse was able to get a track in some spots that still had the snow that held on. Use caution on the downhills. The S-Climb Bypass can be used to come back to the Chalet from the upper network instead of the Hairpin. That is at the bottom of the First Finger just before Millennium Loop. Once at the bottom of the S-Climb follow the Green trail home.

We have had some white gold fall out of the sky over night! Finally just enough to get the ball rolling again.
Chanse is first rolling the trails and then will take the pan out to smooth it. Where its good it’s really good but there are some thin spots and would be considered rock skiing. There isn’t quite enough to put a track in yet. Orange Trail and Millennium Loop are open.
$15 trail passes
Stay on only what is groomed please. Rock skiing is defined as skiing without full coverage and a thin a base, where they may be derby sticking through. Rock skiing is not for beginner skiers and our rentals skis are not to be used.
Fat Biking

With these colder temperatures we are able to open up the fat bike trails. There will be a little dusting of snow over the firm trail. Visit the front desk to be introduced to the Fat Bike map. Don’t have a fat bike? Let us introduce our fat bike rental fleet 😍! We have 7 bikes of various sizes. Call to reserve a bike, 705-444-5017. Ride Teal’s Tango, we also have a 2km single track lower loop. The full loop is about 10km of single track making its way up the escapement and through the magical Highlands forest.
