Conditions for January 27, 2024

Staying off the trails the last couple of days has served us well. The base did settle a bit but in the grand scheme of things we didn’t loose a lot.

Chanse has regroomed with the Husky to break up the crust and mix in the freezing rain with the snow. It will be a fast groomed granular today but in a fun way. You will still be able to get a good edge. It is a good time to buy some skins if you are classic skiing 😉

There is a small biathlon race today. They will use Rainbow Out and Millennium for their race course. Take the Green trail to connect to the rest of the trails. If you see some racers out there give them a cheer! They are working hard. Snowshoers will just need to keep an eye out for skiers as you cross the trail.

There will be a few dirty spots and derby out on the trails. On Woolner there will be a few wet spots. Teal’s Tango will have a few thing spots. But overall conditions are in good shape! And we might even see some sun today 🤗

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WALKING ON THE SKI TRAILS. Walking on the trails can do lasting damage.
