Our policies for GREY are now updated. Please make sure you take the time to read everything before you come for a ski.Β Click here.
We respectfully request all our trail users follow government guidelines regarding essential travel.
There have been come regulations changes for Grey. These are the latest updates:
- Mask rules still apply.Β Please keep a clean and dry mask to wear within 50 metres of the facility.
- Seasons Pass holders will need to collect their items out of the locker. We won’t be able to access those during Lockdown
- The washrooms will remain open. You are not allowed to change inside.
- The Granary, Rockside Room, Cafe, Boxlunch Room and Team Room will be closed to the public.
- Our ProShop and Service Desk will be able to continue in person shoppingΒ to a limited number of people. We will still be offering Trackside Pick Up if that is what you prefer. Appointments will still be required for ski, boots and poles.Β
- Lessons will not be offered during Lockdown.
Remember to limit your time inside to 15 minutes.Β You may have to wait outside if our building capacity is reached.
Welcome to March! Chanse is out there working away in the groomer. It has been slow going but the Husky is doing a wicked job. It is chewing everything up nicely. It will be fast today since we went from warm, to rain to cold. But it is tilling up nicely to get a good edge in. Skate skiers this is what you live for! We did loose some base in last night rain and wind (wind is a bigger snow killer than anything), but thankfully we have some base to spare πΒ Please respect our closing time. Open daily from 8:30 to 4:30. OpenΒ until 8 on Wednesday and Fridays for Night Skiing.Β
Fat biking is open. Β Riding is in good shape today even after the rain. The droppingΒ temperatures has done it job to get us out riding today. Very low tire pressure (8PSI or less) will be key and youΒ canβt have tires less than 3.8 inches.
We have been saying it for a while now but we will be cracking down even moreβ¦A BUFF IS NOT A MASK. Please keep a clean and dry mask to wear within 50 metres of the facility.
Contact Tracing and Active Screening must be done the for everyone coming onto the property the day they will be visiting.Β You cannot do this the night before.Β You can complete a form online. We request that you complete this before you show up. Note that cell service may not be good enough to do this onsite. Once the screening and tracing is complete you will receive an email that you will need to show at our health check station before you can head out to ski. Take a screen shot of your contact tracing so it is easy to find once you arrive! If the email you receive has comes back red, it mean you have answered YES to one of the screen questions. In that case you are NOT able to ski at our location that day. If the email you receive comes back green, we will see you on the trails shortly!Β We have a paper copy that can be done in person as a back up.
Click here to contact trace.Β This must be completed every day you come skiing!
Our conditions texting update program is back!Β We update the conditions page every morning, but sometimes things change through the day. With this program updates will come directly to you as a text. No app download required. Your phone number will not be shared. These updates are not to replace checking the conditions page, but to update you on changes through the day.Β Send you cell phone number to ski@highlandsnordic.ca
