Todays conditions will make you feel like a hero! It will fast and firm, but in a fun way with control. For our waxable skiers you will likely have to start with Klister, it may transition as it warms up. Chanse has regroomed everything with the Husky.

Trail conditions are quite good right now. These are tricky conditions to groom for, the process is much slower on these kinds of mornings. Chanse has regroomed with the Husky. Classic skiing with skins will be key today. It is going to be a warm day which is making this snow sticky. It will be another good day to be sure to have your skis waxed and use liquids so you aren’t sticking.

The Fat Bike is open. Riding will be pretty good in the morning although a little soft. Afternoon riding will become more challenging as it warms up.

The snow came as promised 😉 It is full on winter wonderland out there today. It looks like March is making up for all the snow we missed out on in January. It is lightly snowing now but the roads are already pretty clear. Plows are out so it should be a safe drive today! You will find conditions soft. Thats what happens when you get 18cm of snow, but conditions overall will be excellent! This snow has some moisture in it. Be sure to have your skis waxed and use liquids so you aren’t sticking. Trails may be slightly snow-covered. Chanse has groomed everything with the Husky.

Make sure to dress up for Retro Day! Everyone will get a photo keepsake to take home. Prize goes to the best dressed. The winner will be posted on our social media Story.

Snow is coming but in the meantime we get to enjoy a beauty day on the trails. Everything has been groomed with the Husky and will be great for both classic and skate skiing. Snow starts this evening and into the night. Looks like we will be able to enjoy night skiing and be safely tucked in at home before the major snow starts.

Welcome to March! I would say this is defined as in like a lamb, so we must be going out like a lion. Trails are in excellent shape. Hayden has groomed with the Husky to help clean up the drifts from yesterday. It will be a bit soft especially as it warms up but it will be a wonderful day to be outside.

Looks like we skipped the freezing rain and went straight to snow! Trails are in excellent condition with this addition of fluffy new snow. Conditions will be soft and snow covered as it has continued to snow as Chanse has groomed. Everything has been groomed with the Husky.

The snowshoe trails are open and will give you a little bit of a back country experience with this fresh snow.

The Fat Bike is closed as we wait for this new snow to stop and we start our snow pack journey again.

Another beauty day on the trails. It looks like the freezing rain doesn’t start until 4, so we have a full day to take advantage of. Chanse has regroomed everything with the Husky. It will be a great day for both classic and skate.

You will notice that the tracks are on the left side of the trail today. We do this to help pack down the trail evenly and to make a firm base. Skate skiers apply more pressure as they are skiing than classic skiers. So we switch it up to have the track on the left for the skate skiers to pack down the right side of the trail.

Skiing will be excellent today! Especially for those skate skiers who have been dealing with softer conditions the last little bit. It may be a bit drifted in the open areas but it will be minor compared how good the rest of the network is! Chanse has regroomed everything with the Husky.
