We are in full Winter Wonderland mode up here. It snowed a good chunk of the day yesterday and is starting to snow again now. Chanse is out on the snowmobile and ginzue resetting the classic track and grooming the skate lanes, although at the rate the snow is falling the trails will be snow-covered!

On Back Red there are 1 wet spot just after the pines. Other than that conditions are in wonderfully snowy shape.

Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange with Millennium Loop and Back Red plus Teal’s Tango is open.

This snow still has quite a bit of moisture in it so it will be important glide waxed today and ensure you have your Easy Glide for waxless skis.

9AM Update:

Some extra news from the trails! Add Back Red and Teal’s Tango to the open list.

On Back Red there are 2 wet spots around the swamp and the last hill on Back Red is thin but not too bad. Teal’s Tango will also be thin. You may want to consider rocks skis if you are skiing those loops.

Let’s talk about this snow! It is still snowing so you will find the trails snow-covered today. Since it is snow at zero degrees you will want to make sure your skis are glided waxed today and ensure you have your Easy Glide for waxless skis. This is the type of snow we dream of. Great for snowball fights and building base!

We have decided to NOT night ski tonight. But it is looking pretty good for Friday Night.

Alright people we are SUPER close to getting the trails going again. Chanse has gone around and it won’t take much to be seeing you on the trails. The snow coming today and this evening will make a huge difference. We are feeling very optimistic for the trails opening tomorrow. So do what you need to do to ensure we get the snow. Snow dance, sleep with your PJ’s on backwards, and start wishing on eyelashes. All forms of superstitions welcome.

See you tomorrow….hopefully!

Yesterday was a pretty soggy day and we haven’t been really able to get out to evaluate the trails. We are going to close the trails today and possibly tomorrow. Sounds like we have a mixed bag of precipitation so hopefully it leans more on the snow part than the rain part. We hope to have a clearer idea by tomorrow morning.

In the meantime the ProShop will remain open.

December 28

Well we are going for it! Nothing like a little Spring Skiing in December!

Your best bet will be to come in the morning before it really starts to warm up. Trails should hold up but it will get softer as the day goes on. Chanse has regroomed with the ginzue and its looking pretty good. On days like today it is best to wax your skis, have your easy glide handy and use your skins for classic. Please Park in the North Lot today.

Everything is open! There are a few wet and thin spots down in the Woolner Loop but they are easy to work around. The main wet spot might get exposed as the day goes on.

*Trails will be closed Sunday. Store hours will be between 10 and 3.

For day users trail tickets will be regular price. Click for rates.

Chanse and Tim have regroomed the skate lane with the snowmobile and ginzue. The track is still in good shape. Conditions are great. Better get out while you can! We will open for Night Skiing tonight but you will need to stay tuned for the weekend. It is looking less than ideal and we are trying to play the long game here, and sometimes that means keeping people off the trails. We will be sure to update you first thing tomorrow morning.

We are back and conditions are looking great! It is going to be the fun type of fast today with some control. We hope this weekends forecast will turn to something a little more wintery but for now it is best to get out when the going is good!

Chanse and Tim have regroomed the skate lane with the snowmobile and ginzue with the track still in great shape from Tuesday.

Everything is open! There are a few wet spots down in the Woolner Loop. Skiers from Saturday said the spots were easy to manoeuvre around.
