Trails are closed. Freezing rain and rain coming today which will likely finish off the network. For the safety of our staff driving today the building will also remain closed. Stay tuned for any big weather change updates here!

Here we are, the last day of the season! With the rain coming on Wednesday we though we would end the season on a high note. Rock skis would be suggested. Everything was groomed with the ginzue last night. It will be very fast and firm in the morning (almost icy) and then slow down as it warms up probably around noon. Yellow trail is in great shape, with the Second Finger having a tricky spot at the top of the hill. Teal’s Tango, Green trail, Quarry, Hawberry, Back Red and Woolner Loop are closed. Return to the Chalet coming down the Teaching Hill. Today’s conditions are for people who are comfortable and experienced on their skis, not for beginners.

Parking in the upper lot.

Happy first day of spring! This report is coming to you on Sunday evening. Chanse has groomed everything with the Husky. Where it’s good it’s good, but there are a couple thin/bare spots you have to sneak through. There are a few icy spots as well, but the downhills are looking pretty good. Rock skis would be suggested, although you can get away with your good skis if you pick and choose your route. The tricky spots are on the 2nd Finger, last hill of the Back Red, and Hawberry coming down the little hill. Probably the last day for Hawberry and Back Red. It will be very fast and firm in the morning and then slow down as it warms up.  Teal’s Tango, Green trail, Quarry and Woolner Loop are closed. Return to the Chalet coming down the Teaching Hill. Today’s conditions are for people who are comfortable and experienced on their skis, not for beginners.

Hayden took the ginzue out last night before the snow set up. Conditions are still looking pretty good. We are starting to see the tricky spot around the Sugar Shack be a little icy.  Rock skis would be suggested as we are seeing some thin and icy spots. It will be fast this morning and slow down as the day gets warmer. Teal’s Tango, Quarry and Woolner Loop are closed. Return to the Chalet coming down the Teaching Hill. Today’s conditions are for people who are comfortable and experienced on their skis, not for beginners.

We made it! We did get some rain last night but the trails are open. Chanse took the Husky out for a tour last night. It tilled up really well. The trails are pretty good where the snow is, especially up top. Although we are really starting to see some thin and a few icy spots. It would also be considered rock skiing but you can see all the bad spots pretty easily. It will be fast this morning and slow down as the day gets warmer. Teal’s Tango, Quarry and Woolner Loop are closed. Return to the Chalet coming down the Teaching Hill. I would not suggest that this be a bad for someone first day on skis. Today’s conditions are for people who are comfortable and experienced on their skis.

Well it looks like things are slowly coming to a close. There is quite a bit of rain coming tomorrow that will do a lot of damage. It is hard to predict how much longer we will be able to squeeze out this season. So this is it…the last good chance to get out on snow is today! The snow is a little dirty is but really well covered for the most part. There are a couple thin patches but they are easy to avoid. Down around the chalet looks like the worst of it but out on the trails is pretty good. The snow will be faster first thing and slow down as the day goes. Teal’s Tango, Quarry and Woolner Loop are now closed. Chanse has regroomed with the ginzue.

10:30 Update:

Teals Tango is closed.

Another warm day! Chanse did a quick clean up with the ginzue on the skate lane. The track is still in place from yesterday. It’s still pretty good for the most part. A little mushed in spots, but as it didn’t go below zero last night there was no hope putting a new one in. The base is still holding on! We are still covered, although we are seeing a few icy and wet spots come through. Teal’s Tango has some thin spots. The skiing has been good. Obviously a little soft and slow but no body can complain about being outside on a day like today 🌈💚

Fat biking is closed. We will need things to firm up again. Follow @highlandsfatbike on Instagram for daily updates on conditions.

Everything has been regroomed with the Husky this morning. It is slow going today so you might catch Chanse in the groomer on the trails. Skiing will be best first thing and slow way down as it get warmer. We are seeing a steady creep above zero around 10am. I would try and get you ski in by 11 if you are looking for some faster skiing today. It is a ski in a t-shirt kind of day! We are still seeing a few thin spots on Teal’s Tango that are easy to ski around. Everything else is really well covered. It is the last night for night skiing!

Fat biking is open and will be good first thing, but will quickly turn soft.  Follow @highlandsfatbike on Instagram for daily updates on conditions.

We received a little dusting of snow last night. It would be best to ski first thing, as it will get softer and slower as the day goes on. Conditions are great we just won’t be breaking any land speed records today 😉 Easy glide and glide waxing will be tools to help you today. The track is still in place from yesterday and the skate lane is cleaned up with the Ginzue. We are still seeing a few thin spots on Teal’s Tango that are easy to ski around. Everything else is really well covered.

Fat biking is open and is good condition for the morning. It will get soft in the afternoon.  Follow @highlandsfatbike on Instagram for daily updates on conditions.

Welcome to spring skiing on the start of March Break! Hayden has regroomed everything with the Husky. It is tilling up nice. The conditions will be there best first thing in the morning. Looks like we transition to above zero around 11. We will start to see it get softer from that point. We are still seeing a few thin spots on Teal’s Tango that are easy to ski around. Everything else is really well covered.

Fat biking is open and is riding well. It will get softer in the afternoon.  Follow @highlandsfatbike on Instagram for daily updates on conditions.
