Slowly but surely we have been able to open a little more of the trails. It is still rock skiing but is looking pretty good out there. Chanse has regroomed with the ginzue. You can classic ski but there is no track yet we need a little more base for that to happen.
Green, Blue, Orange and Teal’s Tango is open.
REMEMBER WE CLOSE AT 230 TODAY. Please respect our closing times so our staff can spend time with their families. We will also be closed tomorrow.Β

Down below you will see the rules for Contact Tracing have changed. Please read that through before coming.

When we use β€œrock skiing” to describe the trails it means that the base is still thin and you likely don’t want to use your good skis because there isn’t full snow coverage.
Rock skiing is for experienced skiers only. We wont be doing rentals just yet.Β

A BUFF IS NOT A MASK. You need to keep a clean and dry mask to wear within 50 metres of the facility.

We request you complete the online Contact Tracing and screening when coming onto the PROPERTY the day you are visiting. We request that you complete this before you come to ski or snowshoe or fat bike. You cannot do this the night before. This is a public health. This screening will be checked only when entering the building. Entry is through the pro shop doors.

Note that cell service may not be good enough to fill out the online form onsite. Once the screening and tracing is complete you will receive an email. Take a screen shot of your contact tracing so it easy to find if you are planning on coming into the building! If the email you receive has come back red, it means you have answered YES to one of the screen questions. In that case public health regulations mean you are NOT able to ski at our location that day. If the email you receive comes back green, we will see you on the trails shortly!
As a back-up we will have a paper copy that can be filled out onsite.

Click here to contact trace.Β This must be completed every day you come skiing!

Our conditions texting update program is back!Β We update the conditions page every morning, but sometimes things change through the day. With this program updates will come directly to you as a text. No app download required. Your phone number will not be shared. These updates are not to replace checking the conditions page, but to update you on changes through the day.Β Send you cell phone number to ski@highlandsnordic.ca

8:15m update: Chanse has done some exploring and has managed to open up more trails. First Finger, Second Finger, and Back Orange are open. Use 2 way traffic to come down on the S-Climb. Skiing up top is pretty good!

With a bit of fresh snow we have been able to freshen up Teal’s Tango. It still remains pretty thin rock skiing but is skiable! Teal’s Tango, In front of the chalet, up and down the Teaching Hill around the Old Stadium is open.
Chanse will regroom what’s out there with the ginzue. With all the snow making the front of the chalet is well covered, and does have a track. So you can do some practice on that 200m!

Down below you will see the rules for Contact Tracing have changed. Please read that through before coming.

More of the same today. For rock skiing it’s pretty good, although soft.
Teal’s Tango, in front of the chalet, up and down the Teaching Hill around the Old Stadium is open. It’s still a little too thin out on the trails. Down below you will see the rules for Contact Tracing have changed. Please read that through before coming today.

Conditions will be very similar to yesterday although it will be getting warm. We would suggest getting you ski in early today. It will get softer as the day goes on Β

Teals Tango, Green, and most of the Orange is open. The Recreational Downhill is icy, so we suggest using the Teaching Hill to come down.

There is a track around the upper part of the network but not on Teal’s Tango or the Green. The rock skiing is pretty good out there!

Mother Nature does not seem to be our friend so far. Better get skiing while you can, because it doesn’t look like we will have much skiing by the weekend.Β
